We are living in the age of science. Science has given us many wonderful things. It has made our life very comfortable.

Science has given us fast means of travelling. They are motor cars, trains and aeroplanes. We can reach anywhere in the world in few hours.
Electricity has turned our night into days. It cooks our food. It cools our houses. It runs our machines. It cures diseases.
It has given us the radios, television and cinema. They entertain us.
Telegraph, wireless and telephones are very use-ful in our daily life.
The blind can see. The deaf can hear. X-Rays are used to find out certain diseases.
Science has improved our agriculture and indus-try. It has improved our inset programmes too. Today science is the base of progress of any country.
(b) Railway Journey
In the month of October, I went to Delhi. I went to Delhi to see the Red Fort, Qutub-Minar etc. I went there with my father and brother.
On the day of journey. We reached the station by a car. The train was late by half an hour. We stayed at the platform. Suddenly, there was a great rush. The train had entered the station. We got into our sleeper-Coach.
The train started after some time. I was near a window. I looked outside it. The train was moving through the green fields. Trees and poles were run-ning away from us. I liked the scene outside. We took our dinner at 8 P.M. I read a book for some time and then went to sleep. I got up at 7:30 A.M. when the train had reached Delhi.
We left the platform and came out of the station. We went to see the Red Fort, Qutub-Minar, Rastrapati Bhawan, etc. It was wonderful journey. I enjoyed it very much.

(Football)
Last year I went to Kolkata with my father Kolkata is famous for football. I went to see a grand match there.
The match was played between the famous Mohan Bagan Club and East Bengal Club. There was heavy rush in the Stadium. People were making a great noise.
The match started at 4-30 p.m. The game was very fast. The players were very good. They played their best game. Mohan Bagan scored only one goal be-fore the mid-time. After the mid-time, the East Ben-gal opened their attack. They soon scored a fine goal. They scored another fine just before the close of the game. Thus they won the match by one goal.

Ramesh is my best friend. He is my neighbour too. His father is Dr. Mahesh Verma. His father has a very big house. His father is very rich. He has a brother and a sister.

A visit to zoo
