कुट-कुट कुटक कू, एक मुर्गी नारियल के पेड़ के पास खड़ी थी। एक नारियल का फल पेड़ से गिर गया, धाम! ' उसने कहा, "कुट-कुट-कुट-कुटक कू, आकाश गिर रहा है! आकाश गिर रहा है!", और वह दौड़ी।
मुर्गे ने पूछा, "आप क्यों भाग रहे हैं?"
मुर्गी ने कहा, "भागो, आकाश गिर रहा है।"
मुर्गे ने कहा, "मैं भी तुम्हारे साथ आ रहा हूं"। और वे साथ भागे।
रास्ते में वे एक बत्तख से मिले, बत्तख ने कहा, "क्वैक-क्वैक, तुम क्यों दौड़ रहे हो?"
मुर्गी ने कहा, "भागो, भागो, कुट-कुट कुटक कू,
आसमान गिर रहा है !!"
बतख ने कहा, "मैं भी तुम्हारे साथ आ रही हूं"
और वे एक साथ भागे।
एक खरगोश ने उन्हें भागते हुए देखा।
खरगोश, "तुम कहाँ जा रहे हो?"
मुर्गी ने कहा, "भागो, भागो, आसमान गिर रहा है।"
इसलिए वे सभी एक साथ भागे।
एक लोमड़ी अपनी गुफा से बाहर निकल रही थी।
उसने पूछा,"ओह! मेरे प्यारों, क्या बात है?"
मुर्गी ने कहा, "आकाश गिर रहा है, हम सब राजा के महल में जा रहे हैं।"
लोमड़ी ने कहा, "दोस्तों, मैं राजा के महल को जानता हूं।
मैं आपको वहां ले जाऊंगा।
मुर्गी ने कहा," हां, हां। "
लोमड़ी गुफा के अंदर गयी और मुर्गी, मुर्गा, बतख, खरगोश , एक-एक करके गुफा में गए।
अंदाजा लगाइए कि क्या हुआ।
लोमड़ी उन्हें खा गई होगी।
